How Fast Will A 20 Hp Motor Go?

Kindergarten Valentine's Day! The central market

two guys ... eyes in the hearts!
Our last day will go to Kindergarten, a goodbye to Thea and small. The new teacher will be very cheerful and very effectively with children, making them welcome, singing, putting them in place for the distribution of cakes we've made them.

rapid approach of the country for Chip

lundi 31 janvier

Puce ?
Not nice for a first big trip ...
Go ... no time to lose, right away in the bath ... but not air-conditioned taxi tuk tuk real good to better understand the heat, noise, odors ...

Tuesday, February 1

We will be a bit disorganized, not knowing if the "Thai" happen or whether there should be some spare clothes. Claudie and will chip in Phnom Penh for me to Koh Dach with Tiff a couple of his friends.

Sunday evening, quite by chance, I made the acquaintance of Tiff, an exciting and passionate young woman whom I knew virtually and beside which I was able to spend foolishly without knowing it ... Clothilde thank you for provoking this meeting!

Tiffani's writings on "the forum Roger" and his action in Poumakodach seduced me, to his knowledge has been a great time! Spend a day in his company have given me the click of the little boost for the library ... I like it though.

During our walk on the island, I will discover a different view from the top floor of the tower of the new "GH we view tower". Funny turn ... I have not visited the rooms but they should not be very great ... cons by the sight of all the top is breathtaking! The garden is beautifully ornate. All this is is very nice but if you want to eat ... is another problem! no coffee ... no tea ...

Wednesday, February 2

up early for a departure in the rolls of the company ... MEKONG EXPRESS. Waouuuuuh! it changes our usual bus! service, support, everything is ... Started 6 hours to travel a little over 300 km towards Siem Reap town circuit ruins of Angkor.

Nicolas, our host's house in Cambodia is there to greet us, I will discover shy and different from the idea that I had made during our email exchanges ... The cottage, it is quite as I imagined, her only flaw and not least ... a little lost and not easy to tell a tuk tuk, so we'll be dependent on the tuk tuk's designated shelter. Not too early and suddenly all this ... we miss independence. Anyway, after days of visiting Angkor too much courage to leave the city after the showers needed and benefactors ... More meals at the lodge are made entirely to our taste, cook-server is adorable why look elsewhere what we have on site!

A Angkor Tom
le Ta Prohm
Ta Prohm (built in 1186 by King Jayavarman VII) whose roots of huge trees hold the stones. Some are supportive of others, when the trees die, the stones will break ... For now we still have the chance to explore this jungle intact.
Bayon
built also by King Jayavarman VII, the first temple dedicated to Buddha and famous for its 49 beautiful towers faces

exterior bas-reliefs commemorating the victory of King mainly on the Chams

they were ...

the north of Siem Reap beautiful ride through a surprising vegetation in the bed of the river with a thousand linga Kbal Spean.

Banteay Srei "Citadel of Women"

This delicious
Hindu temple in sandstone Rose built in the tenth century, delicately carved ... Claudie and we wanted to introduce me to the Smart.
for me ... HUGE disappointment ... Banteay Srei Land is born ... how can we access this marvel taking such a path? For those who knew before ... here you have to go by or for a few weeks

and ... out ... obligatory passage through the souvenir shops!

fortunately, in the meantime, we are fortunate to admire the meticulous work of sculptors like we were alone on the site

By late afternoon, we take a boat to navigate through the fishing village of Kompong Pluk, this strange landscape succession of houses on stilts

Sunday, February 6
return to Phnom Penh we take this opportunity to give a different view of the city to chip in on the Tonle Sap navigating through these tubs with kitschy furnishings, which serve as home to their owner

Monday, February 7

Arrival in Sihanoukville delicious meal and rest periods to Reserve.
Promenade at sunset on the beach Victory located at 500 m from the hotel.

buffalo (concrete) on the beach of Victory ...

Tuesday, February 8

Check for Kbal Chhay waterfalls where we meet mainly from indigenous relax in this refreshing place where we were able to swim ... but we find that a small amount of water that only children seem to enjoy.

Our overview will take us on the beaches Ochheuteal or we will greet Sabine and the owners of Susaday Valton, Chip will take the opportunity to taste the pleasure of the beach: fine sand and warm water a program it seems to appreciate.
say that in France we shall find the winter ...
We shall find that the friend Guy we met in Koh Dach and that we find throughout our findings, Phnom Penh, Kampot, Sihanoukville ...

Wednesday, February 9

To enable Smart to see the idyllic or her parents owned the bungalows near the military base at Ream, we got through the owner of Madeleine Reserve de faire une ballade en bateau, le tour de l'île de Koh Ta Kiev et longer le plus possible la côte de Ream

... Also discover the Khmer cuisine, the French expatriates ... They come to us prepare delicious dishes that remind us of our country, from time to time it is still good to eat a steak tartare, fillet with green pepper, a petit salé aux lentilles (indispensable le 1er de chaque mois... pour avoir des sous tout au long du mois... ha... superstition quelle dégustation ne ferions nous pas en ton nom !)

Anyway ... We received an email: It is back home ...
